Remarks

 1866 - 1934 Fell and broke his pelvis in his London flat, died of complications. Art critic and artist, landscape painting. Organized the first Post-Impressionists Exhibition in November 1910. Vanessa Bell exhibited in the second exhibition in 1912. Founded the Omega Workshops in London along with other members of the Bloomsbury Group. A member of the Apostles at Cambridge. Studied painting at Academie Julian in Paris in 1882. Curator of Department of paintings at Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York 1906-1909. Became Slade Professor of Fine Art at Cambridge University in 1933.
