 NOT related to Rupert Brooke the poet, they were both at Cambridge University at the same time. Justin was active in the ADC Theatre in Jesus lane Cambridge and encouraged Rupert's involvement in their productions. Son of the businessman who created Brooke Bond tea. Justin had been educated at Bedales, near Haywards Heath in Sussex. Justin was at Emmanuel along with his school friend from Bedales Jacques Raverat, Noel Oliver also attended Bedale. Later in life he set up on his own leaving the security of the wealthy Brooke Bond tea empire behind him. He had a second marriage, and set up a successful fruit farm in East Anglia during the depression of the 1930's. He still attended the Bedale reunions into his old age.
